Arden Group’s Founder, Chairman and CEO Craig A. Spencer, along with Jon Bon Jovi, founded and serves as Co-Chairmen of the JBJ Soul Foundation, which provides food, affordable housing, social services, and job training for individuals, families and veterans who are facing economic and employment challenges. Since its founding the Foundation has built in excess of 400 homes for those in need and our Soul Kitchens have served over 50,000 meals.
The Foundation’s recent projects include:
- JBJ Soul Homes, a four-story mixed-use development in Philadelphia that includes retail, offices, and 55 apartment units for formerly homeless and low-income people.
- JBJ Soul Kitchen, a non-profit community restaurant with branches in Toms River and Red Bank, NJ. JBJ Soul Kitchen specializes in farm-to-table meals prepared by celebrity chefs for paying and in-need customers.
- Joseph’s House, a homeless facility in Camden, NJ that’s also supported by The Joseph Fund, which provides fundraising and consultative support to the six ministries served by St. Joseph’s Pro-Cathedral.
- The B.E.A.T. Center, where families and individuals in Ocean County, NJ can access meals, job training, and resources to help end the cyclical causes of hunger.
