The Arden Group's acquisition and development strategy is to identify and acquire top-tier properties in major markets and resort destinations that have demonstrated demand, but are undervalued due to market fundamentals, mismanagement and/or lack of sufficient capital. Through the strategic application of management, development, and financial expertise, The Arden Group increases value of these high-quality assets and markets them to investors attracted by the assets' quality, prime locations, market upside, and underlying cash flow.

The Arden Group's acquisition philosophy and competitive advantage are based on four criteria:

  • Location The Arden Group focuses on top-tier properties located in major markets and resort destinations. These properties must demonstrate proven demand and must be located in robust markets that consistently attract institutional investors.
  • Asset Quality The Arden Group seeks luxury hotels and resorts, luxury condominiums, and Class 'A' office properties that offer high-end amenities and market presence. Using conservative analysis, The Arden Group employs rigorous valuations to determine a property's existing and future market potential, supply/demand trends, and current and future leasing opportunities, as well as present and future cash flow potential.
  • Price The Arden Group pursues undervalued opportunities where, due to market fundamentals, current mismanagement, lack of sufficient capital or market timing, assets can be purchased at a discount to replacement cost, repositioned and sold at a profit.
  • Strategic Relationships The Arden Group will invest in both direct deals and form joint ventures with premier operating partners to leverage deal flow and infrastructure.
